Meet Coach Luis
From D1 Dreams to a Bigger Calling
Luis Gonzalez grew up on the island of Puerto Rico with one dream — to play Division 1 baseball. Through relentless training, a commitment to the fundamentals, and a love for the game, he made that dream a reality. After a successful D1 career, Luis was offered an MLB contract.
But after prayer and soul-searching, he realized the dream he was chasing wasn’t the purpose he was made for. He turned down the offer — and walked into something bigger.
Luis used his education degree to become a D1 college coach, where he began mentoring and shaping young athletes. That’s where a new dream started forming:
A place where young players could be coached not just for the game, but for life.
The Start of Wolves
When Luis and his wife Glodelmis moved from Puerto Rico to Central Florida, they founded Wolves Baseball Club — a travel ball team rooted in fundamentals, discipline, and mental toughness.
What started as one team quickly grew to two, and more were asking to join.
After receiving a word from God and clarity about their next step, Luis and Glodelmis took the leap of faith to bring a new vision to life:
A full Baseball Academy that would develop the whole athlete — mind, body, and character.
Built with Purpose.
With Luis’ baseball and mental training expertise, and Glodelmis’ background in business and project management, Wolves Baseball Academy was born.
